"Barktoberfest" in Morganton, Oct. 28, Looking for Sponsors, Vendors

Morganton, NC will be holding its first annual "Barktoberfest" on Sunday, October 28 from 2 to 5 PM in the Catawba Meadows Park. This fun-filled dog-friendly event includes various contests like Best Tail Wagger, Best Trick, Halloween Costume contests, and more. Event proceeds will benefit both The American Heart Association and The American Cancer Society.

Registration will include a special doggie goodies bag, entry into the contests and a 1-mile fun walk. Pre-registration is recommended. Visit the Barktoberfest Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/burkebarktoberfest, for a registration form.
