Get a Cat Friend for Your Dog! Just $3 through Oct. 13!

Of course everyone who reads Carolina Mountain Dog is a dog lover -- but we know plenty of you love cats, too! In fact, while a dog's best friend is rumored to be his human, Fido can often feel very friendly towards a feline!

That's why you should know about the special adoption promotion going on at the Asheville Humane Society Adoption Center at 14 Forever Friends Lane, Asheville (behind Harmony Motors, off Brevard and Pond Roads, near the Farmers Market). Through Saturday, October 13, you can take your pick of the cool cats and cute kitties for just $3 each. So get on over to the Adoption Center from 12 through 6 PM and find your doggie a pal!
