Here's a way to have a brain-teasing good time on a Saturday evening while you support the important work of Asheville Humane Society. On Saturday, October 13, Asheville Humane Society will sponsor its second annual "BYOB (Bring Your Own Brain) Trivia Night." The event begins promptly at 7 PM at the Crowne Plaza Tennis & Golf Resort in Asheville.
Tables of eight people test their trivia-guessing skills to see who can win cash prizes. Also included in the evening's festivities is a silent auction with fabulous items, including a "wine grab," games, raffles for prizes, and more.
Tickets are $15 each. A vegetarian buffet is available at additional cost. All proceeds will be used by Asheville Humane Society to purchase medicine, food and supplies for the foster program, which places hundreds of homeless animals who are sick or need special attention in temporary homes to ready them for adoption.
