Howl'oween Pet Adoptathon, Asheville, Oct. 27-28

Animal Compassion Network (ACN) will host the 13th Annual Prestige Subaru "Howl'oween Pet Adoptathon" on Saturday and Sunday, October 27 and 28, from 11 AM to 5 PM. The even will take place in and around ACN's adoption center, Pet Harmony, located at 803 Fairview Street, just off Hendersonville Road in Asheville.

ACN and other rescue groups, breed rescues, and area shelters will join together for this pet adoption extravaganza. Dress up your kids, yourself, and your pets for the Howl'oween Costume Contest on Saturday for a chance to win great prizes for best pet costume, best kid costume (under age 15) and best human/pet combo costume. All individual costume winners, in addition to other prizes, will receive a free family portrait provided by the mobile photography professionals of Motofoto Studio.

Trick-or-treating for kids and dogs, portrait photo services, and free "paw"dicures by Muddy Paws Grooming will be available at the event. Pizza from Frank's Roman Pizza and beverages will also be available.
