Animal Compassion Network (ACN) will hold its 9th annual Taste of Compassion, a wine tasting and silent auction, on Thursday, November 8, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at The Venue on Market Street in Asheville.
The event features a tasting of over 20 wines, food from area establishments, a silent auction, music by One Leg Up, and more. Wines will be available for purchase. The silent auction will include such items as autographed books by bestselling authors, artwork, jewelry, spa treatments, vacations, and more. Participants will be able to bid on a new 2013 Subaru donated by Prestige Subaru. A trolley service will take guests to and from nearby free parking lots. Proceeds benefit the programs and services of ACN, one of Western North Carolina's leading animal welfare organizations.
