Join News 13 at Camp Bow Wow at 5 Airport Road in Arden, NC for the first ever News 13 Pet Project Adoptathon on
Friday, November 10 from 2:30 to 7 pm! News 13 is partnering with seven local humane societies/rescue groups to help animals in this area find a forever home! Animal shelters/rescues need funding to pay for medical bills, food, supplies and labor to care for each of the animals as they become healthy or old enough for adoption. Adoption is the best option because it provides homes for animals who would otherwise have nowhere else to go and makes room for more animals coming through shelter doors every day. By adopting, you are saving a life and enabling animal welfare groups to continue helping the lost and homeless animals of our community.
The animals up for adoption will be there from 2:30 to 6:30 pm. You can come meet them and start the pre-adoption process. News 13 will also be collecting pet food, pet supplies, cleaning supplies and monetary donations for all of the local rescues that day. So mark your calendar to come help local animals in need or adopt a new family member. Dog Tag Art will also be there supporting the event and showing you how to get your new pet or current pet an awesome collar or tag.
