An excellent article about adopting puppies from shelters rather than buying them from pet stores, which typically sell puppies from puppy mills, appeared in the Dec. 21 edition of the Asheville Citizen-Times. The article includes important information from Katherine Shenar, president/CEO, Asheville Humane Society. You can read it here.
