$5 Feline Adoptions Through October 4 - Spread the Word!

Screen Shot 2014-09-03 at 9.07.26 AMDid you know that September is historically the slowest month for adoptions and one of the busiest months in terms of animals being cared for by Asheville Humane Society? In order to find homes for all the cats and kittens who need a second chance, Asheville Humane Society is dropping adoption fees to just $5 for every cat and kitten for five weeks!

Even if you and your doggie are not ready to adopt a kitty right now, you can help with Asheville Humane Society's "$5 Felines for 5 Weeks Adoption Challenge":

2. Print 5 flyers and hang them up in 5 places around town. Your workplace, your school, your church, your gym, your neighborhood hangouts... anywhere you can think of to help get the word out about our life-saving challenge! You can also drop by our Adoption Center at 14 Forever Friend Lane to pick up flyers if you prefer. With your help, we can continue breaking records for local animals until we achieve a no-kill Buncombe County together.

3. Spread the word ONLINE. One click to share can save a life.
