Put your best paw forward by joining fellow animal lovers at the premier charity gala of the season, the 14th annual "Taste of Compassion." The event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 6 to 9 PM at the Morris Hellenic Cultural Center, 227 Cumberland Avenue, Asheville.

Step back in time to Asheville of the 1920's for a rousing night at the Speakeasy, where you will enjoy local cuisine, craft beer, cider, and wine. Shake a leg to live music while bidding on exclusive experiences and one-of-a-kind items. Come dolled up or decked out (if you wish) in your snazziest 1920's themed attire.

Taste of Compassion, presented by Animal Hospital of North Asheville, helps to raise funds for the life-saving and community programs of Asheville Humane Society.
